Something for Everyone at Saltwater
Saltwater is thrilled to announce our newest educational program for our very youngest fans or those with energy to explore! If you know a kindergarten through 2nd grader who loves to dance, sing, act, and use their imagination this is for them! These thirty minute shows are the perfect intro to performing arts and live performance. Fall 2024 Frozen Kids, 2025 Winnie the Pooh Kids
KIDS licensing includes popular titles like, Aladdin Kids, Annie Kids, Aristocats Kids, Magical Treehouse Kids, and so much more! Stay tuned for all KIDS has coming your way!
Saltwater Performing Arts is proud to feature educational programing for elementary aged children, grades 3-5. These little shows are big on fun and learning, with a focus on the basics. Participants spend 16-18 weeks in a fee-based workshop during which time they learn socialization, theatre terminology and etiquette, timing, choreography, and of course, the show itself. Every participant earns a role, and their efforts, culminates with six live performances in front of a live audience.
These adorable productions are not to be missed as the skill and effort put forth by the youngsters is truly unforgettable. Perfect for introducing live theatre to your school-aged family members.

The Mainstage is where the vision of our founder, Megan Friese-Kaufman came to fruition with their first production in 2014. The Mainstage program has grown to such an extent, that in only 10 years, it transformed Saltwater into the four troupes we celebrate today.
Our Mainstage troupe, comprised of middle and high school students, brings two full-scale Broadway productions to life each season - one in the spring and one in the fall. These shows have become so popular, that they are very often double cast. Essentially, the shows are so good we have to do them twice. Each of the six performances just gets better and better. The talent of these young people will leave you breathless, from the outstanding vocals, to the well synced dance numbers, and detailed sets, the Mainstage productions are where it all began and are not to be missed.
For the 2024-2025 season Mainstage will present Roald Dahl's Matilda the Musical, Fall 2024. Coming April 2025 is My Fair Lady.
We had so many talented young people aging out of our program, we just could no bear to say good-bye and who could blame us? Encore is geared to those graduating our Mainstage program, as well as community adults. Combining the two, Saltwater has stumbled upon something very special indeed! Their talent is boundless.
Look to Encore for 3 exciting options: Encore Plays for straight plays such as the two Season 11 offerings Much Ado About Nothing and Steel Magnolias, Encore Family like previous productions Shrek the Musical, and The Sound of Music, and more mature content exemplified by Season 10's The Producers, and this October's Young Frankenstein. This is a wonderful opportunity for friends and families to work together on a variety of genre. After all, bringing the community together is what we do.
